CLUB RECEIVES TELSTRA FUNDING

Hancocks were fortunate this month to receive $1,200 from the Telstra Foundation under their Telstra Kids Fund program to purchase playing and safety equipment for the Minkey and Modified program.

The Telstra Kids Fund supports local communities through special activities and programs which promote the interests of children and young people. It is designed to support groups in a local community, such as an arts group, sporting team, or play and activities centre.

In 2005-06, 652 community organisations were supported by grants totalling $742,581. About 35 per cent of grants are provided to regional and rural communities.

Hancocks would like to sincerely thank Telstra for their support of the minkey and modified program. More news and events are available in the newsletter below.
